I originally contacted MoonStar Video with the intentions of creating a video
presentation for my son’s wedding – I sent an e-mail to MoonStar requesting
some additional information to see if my idea would be able to come to be, being
that I was extremely close to the wedding date, 30 days to be specific- Lisa
immediately responded and advised that she would definitely give it her best
effort to create the DVD in the manner I was requesting- even with the issues I
was having getting the pictures scanned and sent to her, Lisa continued to keep
in contact with me to try and capture music, background, and additional ideas so
as not to cause any further delays once the pictures were received- Lisa
remained connected to me via e-mail & phone constantly, once the pictures were
delivered, she still remained connected trying to gather enough information to put
a personal touch to the DVD, it was as if she knew my son and his bride their
entire lives-the DVD turned out to be a bit of a personal “masterpiece” – the
pictures, the music – the quality were choreographed so beautifully, we couldn't
have asked for more- her professionalism, her talents are awesome- I was
amazed at how I was able to pull this idea off –with such a short notice and at a
very modest price as well.
I don’t think I would have found another company so committed to personal
customer service as MoonStar – I would hope that I might be able to use
MoonStar Video in the future~

I wanted to create a very special surprise treat for my mom’s 90th birthday. I had no idea
what I was looking for, but I knew I wanted something personal that would hold long
lasting memories and demonstrate the love and respect that I had for her. I began
surfing the internet and I came across Moonstar’s website introducing me to the concept
of Video Albums and their multifaceted use. While viewing the samples of several
albums previously created, I came across the Twins’s 90th birthday celebration. I was
immediately struck and convinced that, that was the ideal gift for my mother, that could
also be shared with all of her friends and family at the celebration, and even those who
were not present.
I immediately e-mailed Lisa, further enquiring about the possibility of creating one
especially for my mom. She replied promptly with all the necessary details. But what
stood out for me was her warm and friendly manner in which the message was delivered.
Right away, I felt that this was an individual who gave a personal touch to this especially
personal project. I responded, telling her that it would take me a while to round up the
photos as I needed to get them from Jamaica, she in turn gave me deadlines etc. and
our working relationship was formed!
This project was a very intimate, personal and emotional one for me, as it included
photos from my mom’s teenage years, the courtship of my parents, my birth etc. Lisa was
right there with me from the start, understanding exactly what I wanted to portray and
giving me positive suggestions, encouragement, ideas and professional direction. She
allowed me to be intimately active with the production by selecting the photos and putting
them in order with the music, selecting backgrounds etc. I loved that feature, because I
wanted to be an integral part of this awesome creation.
During the project we e-mailed each other and talked on the phone regularly as our
working relationship developed. Lisa displayed patience, and presence of a heart and
soul, along with her professionalism. I have experienced Moonstar to be a very special
professional, creative, trustworthy, reliable and personable company. These qualities
are extremely significant when producing projects of this nature. In essence we created a
long lasting family heirloom! It was the piece de resistance at the Celebration, there were
tears and laughter as we viewed photos and memories from the early 1920’s – 2006.
The Albums were beautifully packaged not needing any additional wrapping! She
absolutely loved this gift best of all!
My photos and newspaper clipping from the 1930’s, were shipped back to me promptly
after the production was completed in excellent condition.
Thank you Lisa, Kyle and the boys, I’m truly grateful for your contribution towards
celebrating my mom’s 90 years of a life well spent!
